This Thursday, June 11 at 6:30 pm, Texas Sculpture Group member Sabine Senft will be having a conversation: Artists Looking at Art. Â Please join us for wine at 6:00 pm outside Chiego Lecture Hall at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio.
Sabine uses ancient materials including gold leaf and natural stone to create works that speak to the past within a contemporary context. By juxtaposing disparate elements in her sculptures and paintings, Senft strives for a balanced contrast in texture, form, and approach.
Join us for a conversation about Senft’s work with the artist and Chief Curator/Curator of Art after 1945, René Paul Barilleaux.
